EMMANUEL KANHANGA, A 2016 FALA NOMINEE FROM ANGOLA

Emmanuel Kanhanga, a 2016 FALA Nominee from Angola, organized a medical program in March 2017.

Malaria cases in Angola are very high in prevalence; about 20 children are reported to die per day. Challenged by this need, Emmanuel and his team embarked on a hospital outreach in Angola.

He started firstly by visiting and praying for the patients of the various hospitals he visited. He was able to mobilize people to join him on the visitations to these hospitals.

He also got sponsors for the hospital outreach initiative and get much-needed medicines.

Emmanuel and his team visited over 90 hospitals and impacted over 3500 patients with the anti-malaria drugs. The directors of the hospitals he visited applauded the exercise and urged him to carry out this exercise in the states.
