At Namiwawa Primary School in Blantyre, Malawi, Ambassador Caroline stepped in with one mission, to spotlight and celebrate academic excellence.
To see the child who studies under candlelight.
To see the girl who walks miles to school each day.
To see the quiet boy whose name had never been called in recognition.
From Grade 1 to Grade 8, the top-performing student in every class was recognized and awarded. For many, it was their first time being publicly honored for their hard work.
The atmosphere changed.
And one by one, she called them forward.
Teachers looked on with joyful pride.
Ambassador Caroline’s visit is a statement: Excellence exists in every child. It must be seen. It must be nurtured. It must be rewarded.
Through The Future Africa Leaders Foundation, excellence is multiplied in recognitions.
But to do more, we need more hands willing to give, more hearts willing to believe that rewarding excellence is not charity but an educational right for each student.
